NATHAN SPILLMAN, Co-Owner

Nathan has been involved in some form of Real Estate since 1999.  He began as a Credit Manager while earning a degree in Finance with an emphasis in Real Estate from Texas Tech University in 2000.  He moved to Tyler after college and started a career in Real Estate – both as Licensed Sales Agent and Appraiser.  Nathan has extensive knowledge of income producing and multi-family properties.  He performs both Consulting and Valuations on land, residential, and commercial properties in Smith County.  Nathan is currently co-owner of East Texas Valuation Group, Inc. and the Real Estate Broker for HFNS Property Management, LLC.

HAMMOND FENDER, Co-Owner

Hammond has proudly called Tyler “Home” since childhood and has deep Tyler/East Texas roots.  After graduating from the University of Alabama with a degree in Commerce & Business Administration he spent three years in Washington D.C. working for Texas Congressman Ralph M. Hall.  Hammond returned to Tyler in 2005 and spent several years working for Hilliard Box Insurance agency.  He later partnered with Nathan Spillman to begin a local appraisal business they named East Texas Valuation Group.  The two eventually went on to form both HFNS Properties, LLC. and HFNS Property Management, LLC.  Hammond has been in real estate since 2009 and is both a licensed REALTOR® and a Certified Residential Appraiser with the State of Texas.

RACHEL CHAVEZ

Office Manager

Rachel relocated to Tyler in 2012 from Maricopa, AZ.  She joined the team in 2016 as the Office Manager for HFNS Property Management.  As Office Manager, Rachel oversees accounts payables and receivables. Since joining the team she has had the pleasure of meeting new clients and finds that every day is a different day at HFNS. With over 15 years of experience in Property Management, customer service has been a major part of her job.

ROMAN KNIGHT

Roman began working with HFNS Realty Group & Property Management in May 2025 and quickly discovered his passion for real estate. As a Licensed Sales Agent, he plays an active role in both the brokerage and property management divisions. Roman assists in overseeing leasing operations, tenant relations, and property marketing alongside the Office Manager, Rachel Chavez. With a growing foundation in East Texas real estate, Roman has developed strong knowledge in residential properties, valuation principles, and market analysis. His attention to detail, professionalism, and commitment to client satisfaction make him a valuable part of the HFNS team. Roman continues to expand his experience, reflecting his dedication to long-term growth in the real estate industry.
